Donald Trump is no fan of left-wing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Trump found the perfect replacement.

And now Donald Trump endorsed this sports legend to replace Justin Trudeau.

There may be no bigger Canadian hero than Wayne Gretzky.

“The Great One” – as he was known in his playing days – led the Edmonton Oilers to four Stanley Cups between 1984 and 1988.

Gretzky is the National Hockey League’s all-time leading scorer with 894 goals, 1,963 assists, and 2.857 points.

And Wayne Gretzky is also a strong supporter of Donald Trump.

Trump loves winners and former sports champions.

Trump also has no time for Trudeau as Trudeau allowed Canada’s open border to harm America by allowing deadly fentanyl to slip through.

In response, Trump threatened Canada with 25 percent tariffs on all goods unless the government sealed the border.

Trump also threatened to annex Canada and turn it into the 51st state in a series of social media posts where he mocks Trudeau as “Governor Trudeau.”

Polls show Trudeau is massively unpopular and headed for a landslide defeat in the next election.

Trump took the opportunity to engage in some of his trademark social media trolling by endorsing Gretzky as the next Prime Minister.

“I just left Wayne Gretzky, ‘The Great One’ as he is known in Ice Hockey circles,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “I said, ‘Wayne, why don’t you run for Prime Minister of Canada, soon to be known as the Governor of Canada – You would win easily, you wouldn’t even have to campaign.”

Trump said Gretzky laughed off the idea, but that Canadians should start a grassroots campaign to get Gretzky into the race.

“He had no interest, but I think the people of Canada should start a DRAFT WAYNE GRETZKY Movement. It would be so much fun to watch!” Trump continued.

Trudeau’s position grew even more precarious when his Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland – who hates Trump and opposes his America First trade agenda – suddenly resigned.

Trump also applauded this move as he blasted Freeland as “toxic.”

“The Great State of Canada is stunned as the Finance Minister resigns, or was fired, from her position by Governor Justin Trudeau,” Trump posted.

“Her behavior was totally toxic, and not at all conducive to making deals which are good for the very unhappy citizens of Canada. She will not be missed!!!” Trump concluded.

Freeland’s resignation led to speculation that Trudeau’s government wouldn’t survive and that he would be forced to fall on his swords.

Trump, in turn, had some fun while also trying to make a serious point about how Canada’s left-wing government got a free ride the last four years to take advantage of America and its people.

And Trump wants the Canadians to know those days are over.
